According to information provided by Ramesh Joshi, the youth coordinator of the Non-Resident Nepali Association National Coordination Council (NRNA) in Israel, Kul Bahadur Karki, a resident of Ward 13, Gaindakot Municipality, Nawalparasi district, had been working as a caregiver in Israel for few years .
Karki, who had recently been working as a reliever caregiver (temporarily replacing regular caregivers), was found dead on Tuesday, the 15th, at Ha Agra Street 34 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Rita Chhetri, who also works in Tel Aviv, informed the police about the incident.
In coordination with the police, the Nepali Embassy was informed, and necessary documents are being prepared to send the deceased’s body back to Nepal, said Kumar Bahadur Shrestha, the acting ambassador at the Nepali Embassy in Israel, through a Whatsapp group.
Amid this unfortunate incident, NRNA Israel President Shrikrishna Bhandari urged Nepali workers abroad to share their health issues or discomfort with friends, seek timely medical treatment, and support each other.
