UNICEF State of Palestine Humanitarian Situation Report No. 45 – 30 November 2025 – occupied Palestinian territory

Despite reduced hostilities in the Gaza Strip, children continue to face extreme protection risks after two years of war. An estimated 1.1 million children remain in need of child protection services and mental health and psychosocial support. More than 58,000 children have lost one or both parents. Nighttime temperatures average 14.5 °C (58.1 °F).

More than 16,500 patients, including 4,000 children in Gaza, require medical evacuation, and children have died while awaiting evacuation since the ceasefire.

UNICEF distributed 22,408 pallets of essential supplies across the Gaza Strip in November, including family tents, tarpaulins, blankets, mattresses, and winter clothes.

In November 92,500 people/14,400 families received lifesaving cash assistance digitally.

In the West Bank, conflict-related violence affecting children’s protection and safety intensified, and over 12,000 Palestinian children remain displaced in the northern West Bank.

UNICEF requires US$ 264 million to meet urgent humanitarian needs, with the funding gap for Nutrition activities remaining at 70 per cent.
