UN Security Council to convene over renewed Gaza fighting

The UN Security Council will convene after the cease-fire in Gaza collapsed and Israel launched a surprise strike on the Strip. “It is time that the world takes Israel’s commitment to free its hostages seriously and defeat our enemies,” Israel’s UN envoy Danny Danon said. “Even if the Security Council meets daily, we will not stop until all of our hostages are home.”
