American conservative influencer Tucker Carlson claimed his crew was detained again at Ben Gurion Airport. On X, he wrote that as his film crew was preparing to leave Israel from the diplomatic terminal at Ben Gurion, two of his producers were detained and taken to interrogation rooms by Israeli security officials. According to him, the detention occurred at a stage when the plane was already waiting for takeoff, and his staff’s passports were held by investigators during questioning. Carlson said the questions did not deal with routine security matters but rather with the content of the interview itself: what was said in the conversation with Ambassador Mike Huckabee, why certain questions were asked, whether the interview was hostile, who works in his organization and where the office is located.
