Only public pressure will make Netanyahu bring a comprehensive deal

Einav Tzengauker, mother of hostage Matan Tzengauker, said at the Begin Gate of the Kirya base in Tel Aviv that “This is day 708 in which our loved ones are captive in Hamas tunnels. This week we witnessed the prime minister’s magnificent failure, when he took a gamble on the lives of the hostages and tried to eliminate Hamas’ negotiation team while they were discussing a deal to release my son.” In the statement, in which families of other hostages participated, she said: “I appeal to the people of Israel – Netanyahu is sacrificing the hostages and soldiers on the altar of his survival. He is condemning us to an eternal political war – come out with us to the streets! Only one thing will make him bring a comprehensive agreement and end the war and that is public pressure!”
