Iran Renews Missile Fire at Israel Amid IDF Strikes on Hezbollah, Iranian Regime Sites

Here are key updates from Day 12 of the Israel-Iran war:

■ The IDF’s Arabic-speaking spokesperson issued evacuation orders to southern Lebanese villages ahead of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure, and continued striking Lebanon’s Dahiyeh.

■ Two Israeli officials told Reuters that U.S. President Donald Trump is not close to calling for an end to the war.

■ Spain has dismissed Ambassador to Israel Ana Salomon Perez and is withdrawing the head of its diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv.

■ Defense Minister Israel Katz said that U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran “will continue without any time limit – until we achieve all the objectives and succeed in the campaign,” adding, “The morgues in Iranian hospitals are filled with many thousands of members of the Revolutionary Guards and the Basij… we must definitely continue doing this.”

■ Thousands of people have gathered in Tehran’s Revolution Square to attend the mass funeral of several senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Iranian soldiers who were killed in U.S.-Israeli strikes.

■ Some 780,000 Lebanese residents have been displaced from their homes, and about 120,000 of them have entered shelters, Lebanon’s welfare minister said.

■ Heavy damage to civilian infrastructure in Iran was reported by the country’s Red Crescent, including 19,734 civilian buildings of which 16,191 are residential, the agency said. Seventy-seven medical centers and pharmacies, 65 educational centers and schools and 16 Red Crescent centers were damaged by U.S.-Israeli strikes.

■ Three vessels have ⁠been hit by unknown ‌projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz, maritime security agencies ‌and sources said on Wednesday, as one of the strikes led ⁠to a fire onboard a ship and forced most of ⁠its crew to evacuate it.
