During my recent official visit to Israel, I was asked a question that many of my counterparts abroad also raise: What are the main reasons for Czechia’s unwavering support for Israel?

For a Czech diplomat, the answer is straightforward: Because it is the right thing to do. This stance is intuitive and deeply rooted in our history.
