Al Pacino has set the record straight about his relationship with Noor Alfallah in an interview with *People*. The 84-year-old legendary actor clarified that he’s single and enjoying life as just friends. Yes, you heard that right!
In the interview, which will appear in an upcoming article, the Hollywood icon — who’s never been married but has had high-profile relationships with actresses like Diane Keaton, Beverly D’Angelo, and Kathleen Quinlan, and most recently with producer Noor Alfallah — opened up about his relationship status on October 3rd.
When asked if he’s currently in a relationship, Pacino, who welcomed his son Roman with 30-year-old Alfallah in June 2023, responded simply:
“No. We’re just friends.”
A representative for Pacino added:
“Al and Noor have been great friends for years, and they’re co-parenting their son Roman together.”
In his upcoming memoir *Sonny Boy*, Al Pacino delves into many of his past relationships and his reluctance to marry. He refers to marriage as “a one-way ticket to the pain train.” He candidly reflects:
“Marriage is like a ticket to that train. You either get on or you don’t. And me? I’ve always decided to stay at the station. I’m not boarding.”
He goes on to explain:
“Marriage might work for some people, no doubt. But for whatever reason, I never felt it was right for me.”
Does Pacino still feel that way?
“Absolutely,” the Oscar winner confirmed. “I’ve loved living together with someone, but it always depends on how well you connect. When you live with someone, there needs to be this sense of communion. If that’s missing, it feels more like an intrusion. That’s why I prefer knowing that if I find someone I can connect with, that’s what matters most.”
Pacino also spoke about his wide circle of friendships:
“I have friends everywhere. I have to say, I’m very lucky that way.”
Al Pacino, who’s also father to his 34-year-old daughter Julie (with acting coach Jan Tarrant) and his 23-year-old twins, Anton and Olivia (with Beverly D’Angelo), was first linked to Noor Alfallah in 2022. The couple welcomed their son Roman the following year.
Although rumors surfaced in September that Pacino and Alfallah had split just a few months after Roman’s birth, a representative for Pacino denied the breakup, telling *People*, “They are still together.”
The rep also shared that the couple had reached a legal agreement regarding the custody of their son, and reports stated that Pacino would be paying $30,000 a month in child support to Noor. Quite the arrangement, huh?
Despite not being romantically involved anymore, Pacino and Alfallah remain close friends. In fact, during Alfallah’s birthday celebration in September, Pacino was there to help her blow out her birthday candles, according to *The New York Post*.
Anyway, Al Pacino has clarified his relationship with Noor Alfallah. He also dives deep into his past relationships in his new memoir *Sonny Boy*, which hits shelves on October 15.
Oh, and by the way, Noor Alfallah seems to have moved on — she’s reportedly dating 68-year-old Bill Maher. The two have been spotted together multiple times in L.A. Looks like Noor’s not wasting any time.
