Military pressure on Hamas yielding results in hostage negotiations

A senior Israeli official on Sunday indicated progress in negotiations for the release of hostages held by Hamas, attributing this to intensified military operations in Gaza.

“There are movements within Hamas; the military pressure is having its effect,” the official said. He added, “We are making a significant effort to bring out as many hostages as possible, but there is no certainty. We must understand that we are dealing here with human monsters.”
