Hamas accuses Israel of ‘starving Gaza’

Hamas on Sunday accused Israel of “starving” the Gaza Strip after the latter decided to halt all entry of humanitarian aid and close the border crossings into the enclave following the expiration of the cease-fire’s first phase. “Netanyahu’s decision to stop the aid is a confirmation of the ugly face of the occupation.” said the head of the terror group’s Government Press Office in Gaza to the Qatari channel “Al-Arabi. “Israel is once again showing disregard for international law by blocking medicine and food.” He further stated that “halting the entry of aid means Israel has decided to starve the residents of the Gaza Strip. The international community must take a firm stance to pressure Israel to end this.”
